We can learn a thing or two from the 5' and under troops.

Back to the City by the Bay

In San Francisco again and it's good to be back. Gonna start smiling like I mean it. In honor of my favorite city in the world, I've compiled a list of my favorite San Francisco treats.

• Soft pretzel and cider at Monk's kettle
• Sunday dim sum at Golden Mountain on Broadway
• Veggie eggs benedict at Butler and the Chef
• Olive tapenade from a Saturday trip to the ferry building
• An ice cold Stella at AT&T park
• My go-to soup-in-bread-bowl, complete with free wifi
• Two beef tacos with everything on it from La Taqueria
• Get up for the coffee cake at Doti's True Blue -- it's worth it.

Killer Cats

So we've learned that the Rat King has tagged each of our luxury and environmentally friendly vehicles. To combat this, we've purchased hundreds of dollars worth of rat traps, including the Zapper 3000. New to our household are Maverick and Ice Man -- two feral cats born to kill. It's go time.

Engine Lights? Oh Rats!

I never thought I'd fall victim to alleged vermin nesting in my car engine, but the Rat King has made a residence in my beautiful Prius! When my engine lights went on, I never suspected that "the biggest nest we've ever seen" would be the cause.

So can we pull out Templeton, his family and their droppings from my eco-friendly whip and call it a day? Not without pulling out the entire dash board and rewiring the hybrid's whole system.

Kelly, my friendly yet devistatingly honest Toyota rep, continues to call me with new pricing and new reports on the tunnel dammage. Yes -- Tempie here not only erected a 5 bed 4 bath home, but landscaped his front yard and put in a great, long driveway -- right to my left, front tire.

Happy F-ing Birthday. Chalk one up for the tiny Kangaroos.
